Vision Statement

The future central mission for Gabriel House includes housing for 100 children; school and therapy programs that would meet the specific needs of the children; special needs medical and dental facilities; a training program for missionary volunteers; play areas specifically geared to the needs of the children and the various staff; utility and administrative areas necessary to operate such a facility.

Far too many handicapped children of Mexico are destined to a life of hopelessness and suffering without the help Gabriel House can offer.

Progress Towards the Vision

Our vision since the first day we rented this property is to own the entire cul-de-sac that Gabriel House now sits on. The cul-de-sac contains the main building where 29 children now reside. In 2007 we made a down payment and are now buying this building. The white building which houses the main office and Dr’s office; we are now purchasing it.  The Lord has blessed us with these properties; after the down payment so generously donated by a friend of Gabriel House our payments are the same as the rent we had been paying.

There is an empty building across the cul-de-sac and an empty lot which we do not yet own or rent. By faith we have claimed these properties for the children. We want to bring our boys at the learning center, “home”. Right now they are in a rented house across town.

We are rejoicing over what the Lord has done so far and are looking to the future with great expectation.  As we see through the eyes of faith, please join us.

We see a handicapped friendly playground in the cul-de-sac with wheelchair accessible swings, raised sand boxes for our little ones to play in, slides, swings and teeter-totters that are especially designed to bring joy with safety to handicapped children. We see a track area for riding their adapted bikes and a shaded picnic area where the more severely affected can sit and enjoy the activity.

"The King will reply, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me."
