Gabriel House Story:
What is Gabriel House, and why was it established?
Gabriel House is a project of His for Eternity Ministries, Inc. It was established in 1995 by Ted and Renie Faver to minister to profoundly handicapped children of Mexico by using the means of medicine, nutrition, therapy, spiritual, and emotional support, and to one day purchase property and build a permanent facility to be established as a permanent residence and center for such children.
Many of the Children of Gabriel House have been abandoned. We want to ensure that they will always have a home even through adulthood for those who need such help.
A child is accepted at Gabriel House when all of the following are true:
- He or she must be without hope of recovery from mental or physical disability by normal medical evaluation.
- He or she is in need of immediate medical nutritional intervention to prevent death.
- Families of these children are without economic or educational means to support the child and its condition.
- The child, (or adult when grown), must not pose a threat of physical danger or violence to other children at Gabriel House or other living arrangements must be found through DIF immediately.
- The child must be between the ages of birth and 12 years old when admitted to Gabriel House.
