Gabby:
This adorable little girl is Gabriela. She will be nine years old on the 29th of September. Gabby communicates by smiling and cooing. She smiles almost all of the time. She was born with retardation and epilepsy. She cannot walk or talk but loves the company of people. She loves to be talked to and cuddled. Gaby was rescued from her family by a Christain pastor, who found her in a neglected state, and an inhumane environment, after the mother had abandoned the family.
She is now recieving the care and medication she needs to live and thrive at Gabriel House, where she has been living for 3 years.
Gabby is a member of our Treasures group at Gabriel House. The Treasures are those who cannot communicate verbally, cannot walk and are usually mentally impaired. They get special time with Martin and Candice who take them for walks, cuddle them, take them into the pool, and in general, give them the special one on one attention that they need.
The optimum situation for Gabby would be a loving Mommy and Daddy prepared to devote themselves to her. We at Gabriel House are praying for such a family for Gabby.
